Reaching Europe- Changes in Ministry

What's New Dear Friends,  In Acts 18, we see a short transitional time in the life of Paul. He never stopped ministry but he did have a transition. Through the Lord's leading, and God's Word, the Mann family to Hungary is also going through a time of transition.    God's grace has allowed my family to serve the Hungarian people since 2014 when we first arrived. In this time, the Lord has enabled over half a million tracts, John and Romans, and other means of getting the gospel to the people of Hungary. We have not seen much fruit from these little witnesses for reasons that we can not see on this side of Heaven. Please ask God to use these tracts, and such to break the chains of darkness and that souls will be saved. One year ago, I began to sense a change in heart and attitude towards ministry in Hungary. Through months of the counsel from God's Word and leaders around me, I began to ask the Lord if our time was coming to an unexpected end. I brought my family to Hungary with the intent of spending my life here.  The Lord revealed several needs in my family that can not be satisfied in Hungary as a husband and father (educational, health, financial). My former pastor taught me that my ministry never rises higher, nor is it more important than my ministry to my family. For many reasons that could fill a book (such as homeschooling now being illegal in Hungary), I am writing to let you know as our friends, that we have left the field of Hungary. Our hearts are heavy with leaving Hungary, but we are trusting in the leadership of the Lord.  As for ministry, our race is not finished; the Lord has a unique but very much wanted and needed ministry that He is continuing to develop. Transitions are a challenge; all continued support and prayers will very much be appreciated. I understand that some churches will drop us simply because we left "the field" (Hungary), to them I say thank you. I also understand that some churches will need us to re-present our new ministry to the church. To these churches, please reach out to me via email jason@gothyway.org.  The Mann family is not quitting ministry but simply switching gears "for such a time as this". This new ministry is still being developed and details worked out. I have a plan, I have a purpose and I have a plea. I am asking for your patience. I look forward to the letter announcing our new ministry as the Lord continues to lead and we continue to follow. Some details, are beyond my control and I am waiting on the Lord to provide clear direction. I will present these new ministry details very soon.  From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for your prayers and support. Not one of the over half-million passed out tracts could have happened without prayer and support. Your investment into the Mann family was and is an investment into the harvest of Hungarian souls. Happy Easter

What's New This is a weird Easter weekend... Thankfully even separated we can corporately worship the Lord together and celebrate his resurrection. Through this time the Lord put a message on my heart and I recorded it and made it available below. As I look at the storms Jesus walked through and slept through, I am reminded that he did not stop and complain about the storm. I pray this can be an encouragement to you as we all face this storm. This is a message of hope.  A short message of hope as we go through this storm.  Life in Hungary is as you can expect during these days. The governments' original date of lockdown ending has been extended with no new date set. An indefinite time period is in place to contain the people and keep business closed during the virus outbreak. We are allowed to go to the store, doctors, and exercise. So I "exercise" as I hand out tracts in mailboxes. The gospel must go forth.

Bringing Rejoicing to Jesus

What's New This time is like none other, every person in the world by now knows about the virus and the shut down of the world. There is an opportunity now more than ever before to pray for the salvation of lost souls!  The Mann family is doing fine during this global trying time. Hungary like much of the world is in shut down mode. What is needed is the prayers of his saint more than ever for souls to be saved. As we know times like this are setting the world up for the return of Christ. Once the trumpet blows it will be too late. What's New Dear praying friends, We love to know what is going on and what is going to happen. This is part of our DNA as humans, and it is who we are. There is a massive problem in this, as we tend to follow our heart more than trusting in the Lord. Abraham was told of the Lord to pack up and move. No direction, no promise of anything except that he was supposed to go. As his life was lived through the pages of the Bible, we see the faith that led him and was his guide.  Faith comes by hearing; the voice of God comes in many forms but mainly through His Word. Through Gospel tracts, John and Romans and such the Mann family has shared the Word of God with close to half a million Hungarians. What a joy to be used by the Lord to accomplish this. Despite the hundreds of miles walked, the thousands of homes that received church invitations, and prayers for souls, we have yet to see much fruit from this. This is ok, why, because of the promises of God telling us that His Word will not return void. With many many conversations with Hungarians, this is a summery of their beliefs. We are Christian; we have our Church, Church is political; there is no God; religion is a way to control people and other such views. The devil has truly blinded the hearts of the Hungarian people. Please continue to pray the gospel seeds will grow into a national revival.  Sadly, this is also the story of Europe. While there are small pockets of revival, mostly Europe is untouched and unevangelized. The greatest need for Europe is more men to come and work in the fields of the harvest that is white.
